Common Questions
What People Are Asking Us
What is the average price for one of your puppies?
Newborn puppies range in price from $1800 to $4000, depending on the pedigree. Our older puppies (6-9 months) have completed our puppy management program and range in price from $3500 to $6500. Occasionally we do have puppies/young adults that have been placed with us. Those can range anywhere from $1000-$2500, simply email us and we will let you know what we have available.
What is the procedure to purchase a puppy and/or young adult from your kennel?
Please email us at admin@dogmasteryinc.com so that we can get familiar with what you are looking for in a dog. This way we can match the training and disposition of the dog to your needs. We don’t have “pick puppies”; an ideal puppy for our household might not be ideal for yours.
What is the average price of a trained adult dog for sale?
Please email us at admin@dogmasteryinc.com so we can assess if one of our pups is a great fit for your family.
Is it difficult for a fully trained dog to acclimate to a new family or environment?
All fully trained family members have extreme pack drive and the desire to please and bond with their new household. In addition, we will guide you through our proven process of integration which we’ve used for over three decades. DogMastery wants to make sure your newest addition has a seamless transition into their new home.
Is my pet too old to be trained?
Most of our furry friends do not live by the old adage "You can't teach an old dog new tricks", however we do acknowledge that certain undesirable behaviors - if not addressed early on - can be quite challenging to nip in the bud (rarely have we met a dog that cannot be trained in one of our programs). In order to determine if your pup would be a suitable for one of our programs, an assessment with our head trainer is required.
What is the cost of a private one-on-one training session?
At this time, we do not offer individual training sessions for those who have not done a formal training program with DogMastery, we only offer training packages. In order to determine the best program for your dog you will need to book an assessment. Our assessment fee is $450 and can be applied to your package if you choose to move forward with a training program. For fellow professionals or those who are looking to participate in IGP, Eric's rate is $275/session.
Do you offer boarding?
We only offer boarding to dogs that are currently enrolled in, or have previously completed, a DogMastery training program.
